ACCEL Schools is hiring a 4th/5th Grade ELA/Social Studies Teacher at Northside Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will prepare engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and monitor student progress in a high-need urban setting.

We seek licensed Ohio teachers with a Bachelor's in Education, strong communication, and experience in growth-focused coaching and family engagement. Join a network of 80+ public charter schools dedicated to closing achievement gaps.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience working in urban environment and growth-focused coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans; modify as needed during the year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Incorporate school-approved curricula reflecting student backgrounds.
• Communicate with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Utilize technology to support learning and daily classroom practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in non-instructional activities.
