Job summary

The Milken Institute in Santa Monica, CA invites applications for an Intern, Outreach and Engagement. This full-time, paid twelve-month internship supports data management, event marketing research, and engagement initiatives across multiple teams.

The role offers hands-on experience in event operations, collaboration with Business and Program Development, IT, Marketing, and other Pillars, and a hybrid schedule with three days in the Santa Monica office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Self-directed and proactive with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating reports and data-driven insights for events.
• Maintain attendee, contact, and event data across systems with cleanup and entry.
• Research best practices and emerging strategies in event communications.
• Refine attendee-facing touchpoints like webpages, registration paths, and event apps.
• Other duties as assigned
