Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Marketing Manager for Engagement on the Faculty Marketing team. You will develop customer engagement strategies to drive adoption, success, and retention across Gale, Visible Body, Spark (ELL), and related products.

You will own the Gale newsletter, manage social media for Gale, and ensure consistent messaging across the website, help docs, and other resources while collaborating with product teams to optimize lifecycle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or engagement marketing.
• Demonstrated experience developing customer communications across email, web, social media, and digital channels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex product information into customer-friendly messaging.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and customer engagement analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement marketing for customer outreach within Specialized Learning Solutions (Gale, Visible Body, Spark, and others).
• Coordinate messaging for onboarding, education, and usage communications across the product lifecycle.
• Own Gale monthly customer newsletter and social media strategy for supported products.
• Ensure messaging is reflected across global website, Help docs, and other digital resources.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate features into customer-focused messaging across channels.
• Measure and optimize engagement using campaign metrics.
