Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for Engagement on the Faculty Marketing team to drive customer adoption, success, and retention across Gale, Visible Body, Spark (ELL), and related products.

You will own cross-channel customer communications, coordinate product launches and migrations, and collaborate with product and engagement teams to ensure consistent onboarding and education throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or engagement marketing.
• Demonstrated experience developing customer communications across email, web, social media, and digital channels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex product information into customer-friendly messaging.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and customer engagement analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement marketing for customer outreach across multiple products and initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding, education, and usage communications throughout the product lifecycle.
• Own the Gale monthly customer newsletter and social media strategy for supported products.
• Ensure messaging is reflected across the global website, help documentation, and other digital resources.
• Measure engagement performance and optimize lifecycle programs across channels.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate features into customer-focused messaging.
