Job description

Vertical Relevance is looking for a Senior Engagement Manager with ServiceNow to join our team full-time and work remotely. This person is responsible for the end-to-end planning, building, and deploying software systems.

As an Engagement Manager with ServiceNow ITSM / CSA Certifications, you will implement technical solutions as part of a team for customer engagements. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, patience, and organizational skills needed to drive customer success.

The Engagement Manager should have a strong background in engagement management to lead and oversee ServiceNow implementation projects within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will bring a combination of in-depth project management skills, hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to drive project success. ServiceNow experience is essential, and ServiceNow certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
  1. Proven experience in Project Management, engagement management, client communication, and project leadership: Lead ServiceNow implementation projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  2. Engagement Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including client executives and project sponsors, within the financial services sector.
  3. Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or SecOps.
  4. Understanding of ServiceNow Creator Workflow, Employee Workflow, HR, Legal, Talent, and stakeholder management.
  5. Strong ServiceNow platform expertise; ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Project Portfolio Management) are highly advantageous.
  6. Familiarity with financial services industry compliance and regulatory standards.
  7. PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  8. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and navigate complex client environments.
  9. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
  1. 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow platform in pre-sales or delivery capacity, including implementations.
  2. Proven experience in delivering successful ServiceNow implementations across Financial Services, Telecom, and HCLS industries.
  3. Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, or SecOps.
  4. Understanding of ServiceNow Industry and Custom Workflows.
  5. Experience leading pre-sales activities, including solution design, architecture, and proposal development.
  6. Strong client management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Proven ability to lead and manage large, cross-functional project teams.
  8. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are preferred.
  9. Ability to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  10. Experience with risk and issue management, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  11. Deep industry expertise in financial services, telecom, or healthcare & life sciences is a plus.
  12. Soft skills include strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
