Job summary

Sikich is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager in Sacramento, CA to lead maintenance and operations service delivery. You will oversee delivery teams, manage risks, and ensure timely, contract-compliant results while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires leadership, schedule and SLA management, and collaboration across technical and business units to drive operational excellence in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience as a Delivery Manager or Support Manager in maintenance and operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing a team of at least 5 full-time resources.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in schedule management, risk management, SLA management, and problem/issue management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting cloud-based SaaS development projects.
• Bachelor's degree required, or 4 years of qualifying experience in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of maintenance and operations services to ensure successful project execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
• Manage project schedules, resource planning, and overall delivery timelines.
• Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and SLAs.
• Provide leadership and oversight to project teams ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing maintenance and cloud-based SaaS initiatives.
• Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts throughout the engagement.
• Communicate status, risks, and performance to stakeholders clearly.
