Job summary

Oracle Life Sciences Research Services is seeking an Engagement Manager in Oncology & Specialty Therapeutics (OST) to lead client-facing consulting engagements, translating scientific and commercial questions into structured research and strategic recommendations.

The role combines oncology science, strategic consulting, and data-driven insights to support biopharma clients in commercialization, portfolio strategy, and competitive positioning. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting or commercial experience in pharma/biotech with oncology focus.
• PhD in Life Sciences or MD with oncology experience.
• Strong understanding of oncology biology, drug development, and commercialization strategies.
• Proven client-facing leadership and primary market research capabilities.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially in PowerPoint.
• Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-method oncology consulting engagements, including qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research.
• Serve as trusted advisor and primary contact for biopharma clients, translating questions into structured research approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver clear storytelling, often through executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, synthesizing data into strategic narratives for senior audiences.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders across commercial, medical, strategy, and business development functions.
• Provide product/content leadership for CancerMPact oncology data and insights offer.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through custom engagements and new offerings.
