Providence Living at Hunters Creek is seeking an Engagement Director to lead a comprehensive life enrichment and activity program for residents, families, and staff. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of engaging activities that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, leadership of staff and volunteers, and collaboration with care teams to tailor experiences that promote joy and inclusion in daily life.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• 3–5 years in senior living, recreation therapy, or activity programming.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-first approach.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to motivate others.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of dementia-friendly programming preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for activity program leadership (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and oversee a dynamic monthly calendar of activities.
• Foster a warm, engaging environment that encourages participation.
• Collaborate with the care team to support personalized activity plans.
• Coordinate special events, outings, volunteers, and intergenerational activities.
• Build relationships with residents and families to gather feedback and improve programming.
• Manage engagement staff and volunteers, providing leadership and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Partner with dining, wellness, and care teams to deliver holistic experiences.
• Maintain attendance, budgets, and supplies for engagement programs.
