Job summary

You will manage a monthly calendar of activities, supervise engagement staff and volunteers, and ensure compliance with state regulations while partnering with dining, wellness, and care teams to deliver holistic experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Management Experience.
• 3–5 years in senior living, recreation therapy, or activity programming.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, resident-first approach.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of dementia-friendly and person-centered programming preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for activity program leadership (where applicable).

Position Summary

The Engagement Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive life enrichment and activity program that meets the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our residents. This leader will build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure an engaging, inclusive, and joyful community experience.
