Job summary

Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA is seeking an Engagement Director to plan and oversee a comprehensive activities program that supports residents' physical, mental, and social well-being.

You will lead daily activities, coordinate events, supervise staff and volunteers, collaborate with other departments, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining detailed participation records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong creativity and ability to design engaging programs
• Genuine passion for working with seniors
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to assist in setting up and conducting activities

Responsibilities
