Leisure Vale Assisted Living in Glendale, CA is seeking an Engagement Director to lead activities that meet residents' physical, mental, and social needs, guiding staff and volunteers.

The role involves planning and coordinating daily activities, events, and programs, encouraging resident participation, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across departments. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong creativity and ability to design engaging programs.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to assist in setting up and conducting activities.

Responsibilities
