CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking Accounting Consultants (Engagement Directors) for our Client Accounting and Advisory Services in West Hartford, Connecticut. This role involves providing customized accounting support to clients, especially larger firms, on an interim and project basis.

Ideal candidates will have at least ten years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and skills in Microsoft Excel. Enjoy a range of perks including flexible PTO and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Ten years relative work experience including public accounting.
• Prior industry experience as a CFO, Controller, or equivalent preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-level interim or project-based accounting resource.
• Design/improve accounting processes such as monthly close and reporting.
• Take an active and hands-on approach in executing client engagements.
• Opportunity to travel based on flexibility.
