Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking an Engagement Director at our Hendersonville community to create meaningful experiences for residents and families. You will lead engagement initiatives, plan events, coordinate outings, and build partnerships that enhance the overall engagement experience for seniors.

The role requires strong communication, creativity, and computer skills, with a passion for working with senior adults. This is a full-time, exempt position at our Hendersonville campus.

Qualifications

• Two years of similar experience in senior living or engagement roles.
• Ability to design and run engagement programs for residents.
• Strong communication skills suited for group or public settings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement programs to promote vibrant resident lifestyles.
• Lead planning for events and memory care activities with the team.
• Coordinate community outings and partnerships to enrich resident experiences.
• Develop relationships with volunteer groups and community organizations.
• Supervise Engagement Coordinator(s) and Transportation staff as needed.

As a Vitality Living Engagement Director, you will impact lives by:

• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle while modeling appropriate and successful engagement of residents for community staff.
• Lead planning for special events, parties, and larger events for the entire community, including Memory Care in conjunction with other team members.
• Coordinate outings, special events, and partnerships with the community at large to enhance overall engagement experience for residents.
• Develop relationships with volunteer programs, cultural, artistic, intergenerational, and other groups within the community at large that can provide resources to enhance engagement program.
• Directly supervise Engagement Coordinator(s) and/or Transportation staff as well as indirectly supervise Wellness team members with respect to engagement assignments and duties.
