Oakmont Senior Living is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Memory Care at Oakmont of Las Vegas. The role focuses on coordinating engaging daytime activities for memory care residents, promoting participation, and supporting a warm social atmosphere within the secured Traditions area.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a high school diploma, and preferably 1 year in senior activity coordination. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver’s license to transport residents is desired.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license, preferably Class B to transport residents.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Memory Care Director in creating an engaging social atmosphere in the Traditions area.
• Promote resident participation through scheduled activities and events.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and support transportation as needed.
