Job summary

Vitality Living Hudson is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to plan and promote activities that enrich residents’ daily lives. You will help transport residents, facilitate dementia-informed programs, and tailor engagements to individual interests as documented in the resident life journal.

Applicants should communicate effectively with seniors including those with Alzheimer’s disease, possess computer skills, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful and individualized programming.
• Effective communication with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, implementation, and promotion of activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Safely transport residents in community vehicle according to schedule.
• Facilitate engagement programs that promote a vibrant lifestyle for residents.
• Create engagement for residents based on their preferences as reported in the resident life journal.
• Coordinate outings, events, and partnerships to boost engagement; support memory care efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
