The Engagement Team Coordinator supports all ministries of the church that involve serving, including local and global outreach and volunteer development. This role provides administrative oversight, project coordination, and volunteer engagement across a variety of service-oriented initiatives. Collaborate with ministry and church-wide teams to ensure smooth coordination of projects and events.Volunteer Oversight and Development: Oversee and invest in volunteers by coordinating schedules, supervising tasks, and providing onboarding and training. Cultivate a culture of discipleship and service among volunteers.Communication and Connection: Field inquiries and direct them appropriately, maintaining a helpful and welcoming presence. Work closely with communication teams to ensure best practices in promotion, mobilization, and engagement.PRIORITIESAdministrative Excellence: Coordinate internal team calendars, meetings, and communications. Take and distribute meeting notes, manage reminders, and ensure follow-through on team action items. Oversee room reservations, event setup, and post-event details.Project and Event Execution: Coordinate logistics for ministry events and projects, including registration, volunteer tracking, supplies, and follow-up. Provide hands-on support at events, including evenings and weekends as needed.Process and Best Practices: Establish and maintain efficient administrative systems that support mission advancement and team alignment. Contribute to accurate reporting, maintain the accuracy of digital content, and assist the team in meeting deadlines.Support for Major Events: Collaborate with all ministry teams to support worship services, special events, and community gatherings with intentional discipleship and care.
