Job summary

The Arbor Company in Maryland is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging activities that promote residents' health and spirit. You will lead programs aligned with our engagement model, building meaningful connections and fostering a joyful, participative community.

You’ll collaborate with a caring team and may use your creativity to design events that enrich daily life for seniors. The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and consistent, friendly resident interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teacher, Event Planner, or Project Coordinator.
• Preferred experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful and engaging activities for residents to enhance health and spirit through the 6-dimensional engagement program.
• Build deep connections with residents and families to support wellbeing and happiness.
• Use creativity to design engaging programs and events, contributing to a fun, caring community.
• Be an integral part of a dynamic, collaborative team.
