Job summary

Partnership for Strong Families, Inc. is seeking an Engagement and Development Specialist to promote PSF across its 13-county service area.

You will represent PSF at events, lead donation drives, build partnerships, and craft consistent messaging to increase awareness and support for PSF’s programs. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned communicator with a passion for development and community engagement, able to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects with strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software and excellent writing.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

Join Our Team as an Engagement and Development Specialist!

Partnership for Strong Families (PSF) is seeking an Engagement and Development Specialist (EDS) to join our passionate team and help us make a difference in the lives of children and families across 13 counties in North Central Florida.

What You’ll Do:

As the Engagement and Development Specialist (EDS), you will promote Partnership for Strong Families (PSF) across its 13-county service area. Working closely with the Director of Recruitment and Development, you will represent PSF at community events, lead donation drives, build community partnerships, and create consistent messaging that increases awareness and support for PSF’s programs and services.

• Represent PSF at community meetings and networking events.
• Coordinate impactful initiatives, including our Wish Upon a Star and Back-to-School Drive
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and donors.
• Assist in creating newsletters, promotional materials, and grant proposals.
• Lead Children’s Partnership Council meetings and support strategic outreach efforts.
• Develop engaging social media content and respond promptly and professionally to online interactions and inquiries.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to lead multiple projects.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software with exceptional writing skills.
• Possession of a valid, State of Florida driver’s license to operate the motor vehicle operated; Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment.
