West Georgia Technical College is seeking an English Adjunct Instructor to prepare lesson plans, deliver instruction, and assess student progress for English courses. The role may include day/evening/online classes and requires strong computer and communication skills along with the ability to work with a diverse student population.

Part-time faculty appointments are reviewed by the department chair as openings arise.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in English or related discipline with 18 hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution
• Valid Driver’s License
• PhD in English preferred
• Teaching experience at the postsecondary level preferred

Mansioni

• Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited courses.
• Evaluate students’ progress based on established grading requirements.
• Maintain required documentation and reports; participate in professional development.
• Teach English courses in classroom/lab/online environments and adapt to current industry trends.
