Job summary

United Way Miami is hiring a Specialist, Early Childhood Education Support to help ensure high-quality infant/toddler care and education through partner support and coaching. You will train Child Care partners and Family Child Care providers, integrating education with other service areas.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in ECE with relevant experience; Masters preferred, and a strong ability to work collaboratively within the EHS-CCP framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with 18 credits in ECE; Masters preferred.
• Three years of experience in an Early Head Start or similar program.
• Experience providing training to staff and in program development and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical support to all early care and education programs under the partnership.
• Promote the integration of Education with other service areas.
• Conduct weekly classroom observations at designated sites.
• Assist in the development of plans for School Readiness Goals.
• Coordinate coaching and career development activities for teachers.
