  • Understanding of shock, vibration, and thermal design considerations for electronic assemblies.
  • Experience working with PCBs, enclosures, connectors, and interconnects.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
  • Familiarity with tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements, specifications, and applicable industry/defense standards.

  • Contribute as a mechanical packaging subject matter resource during proposal and development efforts.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design / Electronics Packaging Engineer to develop ruggedized electronic hardware for military ground vehicle applications. In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and transition electronic assemblies into production for harsh operating environments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in mechanical design, electronics packaging, structural and thermal analysis, and development of hardware for demanding environmental conditions.

Salary Range Transparency:

Santa Barbara, CA $135,000.00-$165,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
