Axcelis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I (Production Support) in Beverly, MA. This on-site role supports complex mechanical and electrical assemblies, with First and Second shifts and up to 25% travel for contract manufacturing and supply chain work.
Lead tooling, develop work instructions, and drive improvements using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma methods while collaborating with Design Engineering, Quality, and Operations to enable new product introductions and cost reductions.
Schedule: 1st; Monday- Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm 2nd; Monday–Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm Location: Beverly, MA (100% Onsite) Travel Requirements: Up to 25% for contract manufacturing and supply chain support

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in EE, ME, IE, or MFG ENG with 0-2 year of professional experience.
Experience with basic engineering tools such as SolidWorks/Creo, AutoCAD, or DraftSight Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment such as calipers, hand tools, DMMs, etc. Capable of interpreting and analyzing engineering drawings, electrical schematics, 3D CAD models, BOMs, and GD&T specifications to support product manufacturing and process development

$66,691.37 - $100,037.06 This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as you develop within the role. Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular employees working 20+ hours a week).
