Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for Energy & Utilities to lead a high-performing team driving AI-enabled cloud transformations for energy customers.

You will partner with regional sales and be a trusted technical advisor in executive discussions, shaping outcomes at the C-suite level. You will own the regional strategy, influence product roadmaps, and mentor senior architects while delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance

Qualifications

10+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience.

Responsibilities

Build, coach, and retain a team of Solutions Architects, fostering technical excellence and customer obsession.
Develop and execute technical strategy for major Energy accounts; collaborate with Sales and act as a trusted advisor in C-suite discussions.
Lead complex engagements across content production, broadcast, streaming, gaming, and sports analytics.
Guide digital and AI transformation initiatives including cloud migration and content delivery optimization.
Represent AWS in executive-level discussions and industry events.
