Burns & McDonnell’s Energy & Utilities team in the US seeks an Energy & Utilities Analyst to support power system studies, technical and economic analyses, and investment planning for fossil fuel and renewable generation. You will work under supervision to assist with due diligence, cost/benefit evaluations, and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with power system studies and technical/economic analyses for energy and utility projects.
  • Analyze life-cycle costs and financial assumptions for capital and O&M.
  • Support regulatory and client presentations; develop technical reports.
  • Contribute to power flow, reliability, and economic dispatch analyses.
