Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC, based in New York, seeks an Investment Bank Analyst within the Center for Carbon Transition. You will help execute the firm’s decarbonization goals, evaluate ESG-related oversight, and support new product and market development within Corporate Advisory.

You will work with senior bankers, receive mentoring, and contribute to sustainable initiatives, with opportunities to develop in a global investment banking setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years of work experience in investment banking front office or related role preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in energy, climate and decarbonization themes.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution process.
• Impeccable communication skills with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.
• Self-directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the Firm’s strategy to align financing portfolio with net zero emissions by 2050 in carbon-intensive sectors.
• Support development of green financing target strategies and opportunities for the firm.
• Contribute to sector models and portfolio analytics informing strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with energy-transition focused engagements across sectors (data centers, geothermal/nuclear, carbon capture).
• Develop high-quality analysis and content for market updates, client-facing content and management presentations.
• Stay informed on energy transition market dynamics and policy opportunities/headwinds.
