Job summary

Cloudspirit is seeking a Trade Support Junior Analyst in Houston, Texas. This hybrid role involves supporting Power and Gas trading desks during the migration to Orchestrade, focusing on trade monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting traders. Candidates should have 3–7 years of Front Office Trade Support experience, strong technical skills in SQL and Shell scripting, and exposure to US Power and/or Gas markets.

Ideal candidates will work well under pressure and exhibit strong communication skills. Nice-to-have skills include Python and AWS experience.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Front Office Trade Support, Application Support, or Production Support within energy or financial markets.
• Strong technical foundation including SQL and Shell scripting.
• Experience with ETRM platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Front Office trade support for Power and Gas desks during and post-migration.
• Monitor trade lifecycle, positions, and PnL consistency across systems.
• Perform daily production checks and troubleshoot issues.
