Community Action Pioneer Valley in Greenfield, MA, seeks an Energy Technician 2 to conduct energy efficiency and health&safety audits for income-eligible clients in Franklin and Hampshire Counties. The role includes contractor coordination, project management, and quality control for single and multi-family weatherization projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with marginalized communities and low-income clients.
• Residential energy audits including building shell, health/safety, and heating appliances.
• Data management and outcome measurement experience.
• House-as-a-system weatherization knowledge and energy modeling familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes audits delivery.
• Conduct client interviews and provide energy education.
• Inform clients about other CAPV programs and services.
• Maintain client confidentiality and accurate data records.
• Perform building diagnostics and develop work scopes using prescribed software.
• Oversee project quality control inspections and approvals of changes to scope.
• Travel across service area to sites and attend field visits as required.
• Obtain and maintain required EA/QCI certifications and CEUs.
