Job summary

Baker Hughes offers University Internships in Engineering and Technology for 2027 to students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics or other STEM fields. The program provides hands-on work, mentoring, and exposure to HS&E culture, with a focus on developing key skills and project experience.

You must be fluent in English, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors' or Masters' level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM-related program.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Assist engineers or technologists with ongoing projects through research, data analysis, and technical support.
• Participate in design processes, create drawings or prototypes, and contribute to development of new products or technologies.
• Keep accurate records of experiments, designs, and project information and prepare reports as needed.
• Collaborate in software development, coding, or programming tasks with engineers.
• Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
