Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Industrial Commercial Energy group in Orlando. The candidate should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and have a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit are preferred. The role involves supporting senior engineers with calculations, data analysis of flow and rainfall data, and coordination across Planning, Design, Hydraulic, and

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Valid Driver’s License
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations under senior engineer
Obtain drawings from local municipalities
Perform data analysis of continuous flow and rainfall data
Copy and scan project related drawings
Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools
Ability to work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them
Work with the Planning department
Work with the Design (structural) department
Work with the Hydraulic and Hydrology department
Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients
Maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
