Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, environmental resource management, sustainability, or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field required.
• Experience with Maryland Green Schools Program or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and co-author Calvert County Public Schools' Resource Management and Energy Conservation Plan.
• Collaborate across Facilities, Planning and Construction to advance energy and sustainability efforts.
• Monitor energy usage, analyze data, and identify cost-saving strategies and incentives.
• Support Green School certification efforts and sustainability reporting.
• Coordinate training and communications related to Green School initiatives.
