Description of Role

As a ESS Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to the development, implementation, and improvement of energy storage systems. This will include assisting in the design and analysis of energy storage systems, conducting research on emerging technologies and industry trends, and collaborating with engineers on project planning and execution. Additionally, the ESS Engineer may be involved in data analysis, documentation, and providing support in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities. Core Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive understanding of battery storage systems, their components, integration, site engineering and construction;
• Design and optimize energy storage systems based on project requirements and technical specifications;
• Monitor and analyze the operational performance of energy storage systems, identifying and resolving issues;
• Work on regulatory compliance and safety standards associated with energy storage projects;
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and ensure compliance;
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, reports, and specifications;
• Participate in project meetings, presenting technical information and updates to stakeholders;
• Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving to address technical challenges that may arise during project implementation.

• Base salary commensurate with experience and generous annual cash bonuses;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field;
• 0 - 2+ years of professional experience
