Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Program Manager to lead end-to-end development of Energy Storage System products, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to drive development, integration, and deployment.

You will manage schedules, budgets, risks, and vendor performance in a multi-vendor environment, ensuring regulatory and safety standards while advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master’s or PMP preferred.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience in energy sector or complex hardware/software projects.
• Proven track record managing multi-vendor projects in energy storage, batteries, inverters, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to drive ESS development.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across the supply chain.
• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and KPI reports for stakeholders.
• Oversee integration of ESS components and ensure regulatory/compliance standards.
• Allocate resources and negotiate with suppliers to meet commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned.
• Ensure safety and environmental guidelines throughout development.
