Job summary

Bradsby Group is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer I/II to support energy storage projects across multiple sites. The role involves reviewing owner project requirements, assisting in commissioning plans, and performing field tests with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or similar technical field or equivalent field experience
• Minimum one year of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with a MEP Contractor, Commissioning firm
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
• Basic understanding of key construction documents and their relationship to construction Project Management and Field Executions
• Basic understanding of how design, construction, start-up, and turnover align within the project delivery process
• Basic understanding of key construction documents and their relationship to Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) &
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum three years in electrical construction management or electrical design
• Utility experience preferred
• Working knowledge of NEC code and NE safety code a plus
• Current driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Reviewing owner project requirements
• Assist in performing scope reviews
• Assist in creating commissioning plans, checklists, and tests
• Performing field visits and observing commissioning inspections and tests where prescribed means and methods are provided
• Assist in writing issue descriptions and field reports
• Assist in creating Systems Manuals
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Support planning and execution of system tests, including but not limited to NETA, SCADA, controls, and operations verification of energy storage systems.
• All other duties as assigned
