Job summary
FlexGen is seeking an Energy Storage Application Engineer to support the development and delivery of cutting-edge energy storage projects in the US market. You will partner with Business Development and Technical Support to provide pre-sales engineering, system design guidance, and EMS for ESS/BESS solutions, HybridOS.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor bridging hardware, software, and market applications, driving adoption of FlexGen's EMS and BESS offerings through design,
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- Strong technical aptitude in electrical or power systems engineering.
- Excellent listening, communication, and customer engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screening.
- Experience with AutoCAD, PowerBI, Visual Basic, and PowerPoint is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Technical & Project Support: assist ESS design, sizing, and power system analysis.
- Provide technical guidance on energy storage solutions during development and pre-sales.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate technical solutions.
- Position EMS and ESS solutions for new opportunities with sales teams.
- Prepare technical presentations and proposals highlighting EMS/BESS capabilities.
