Job summary

CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled technician for a fully remote role focused on energy storage systems. Job description

This is a fully remote role with no daily office attendance required. Your work location will depend on the project site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a vocational/professional institution in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics, New Energy, or related fields.
• 2–3 years or more of on-site service experience in the new energy industry, such as photovoltaic, wind power, or energy storage, or in power-related fields. Experience in commissioning large-scale energy storage projects is preferred.
• Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing; able to independently read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system topology diagrams.
• Holds high-voltage and/or low-voltage electrician operation certificates required by the target market region, or possesses relevant qualifications that meet local laws and regulations.
• Able to travel between cities or to other countries within the assigned market region based on work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation guidance and system commissioning for energy storage products, and work with customers to complete joint commissioning of EMS, PCS, and other equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults that occur during the operation of energy storage products, ensuring the system is restored to normal operation in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization for operating energy storage power stations according to the maintenance plan.
• Manage the receipt, inventory check, and ledger records of spare parts; conduct regular stocktaking and submit reports on material shortages.
• Organize technical training and operational guidance for customers and third-party service providers.
