Job summary

Country Visions Cooperative is seeking an Energy Service Technician/Route Driver in Brillion, WI. You will install and maintain propane systems at customer locations, manage tanks, and learn applicable codes. You may deliver and pickup propane tanks, with safety communications to customers and after-hours on-call rotations.

The role requires CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, plus Pep training. Enjoy a field-based position with both indoor and outdoor work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required.
• Pep Training through Propane Education and Research Council must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Install propane systems at customer locations.
• Maintain company and customer tanks and systems at customer locations.
• Learn and observe propane and fuel system codes for installation and maintenance.
• Deliver, set up, and pickup propane tanks from customer locations.
• Communicate safety and repair information to customers.
• Be available for afterhours and weekend on-call rotations.
• Perform safety and compliance tests and relight pilots as needed.
• Use electronic tablets to complete safety documentation.
• Deliver propane/petroleum with commercial propane truck as needed.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Accuracy, confidence, dependability, and good communication are all beneficial skills for this position. Maintenance experience is also preferred.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install Propane systems at customer locations.
• Maintain company & customer owned tanks and systems at customers’ location.
• Learn and observe propane and fuel system codes for installation and maintenance.
• Deliver, set up, and pickup propane tanks from customer locations.
• Effectively communicate safety and repair information to customers.
• Be available for afterhours and weekends on call service rotation.
• Perform Safety and Compliance tests, check system for proper operation and Relight pilot lights at customer locations
• Ability to use electronic tablets for completingsafety documentation
• Obtain CDL, Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
• Deliver Propane/Petroleum with Commercial propane truck as Backup/Relief driver when needed.
