Job summary

Avathon, a leader in Industrial AI autonomy, seeks a Product Manager for Energy & Critical Resources in California. You will own product strategy across AI-enabled capabilities for energy, mining, and utilities, working with scientists and engineers to solve reliability, production, and optimization challenges.

You will translate complex industrial problems into scalable product features, collaborate with leadership across product, sales, and forward-deployed engineering, and shape a portfolio

Qualifications

• MBA required from a top-tier university.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in product management, management consulting, energy, mining, industrial technology, operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the operating environment of energy, mining, metals, or other critical resource companies.
• Experience defining and deploying products incorporating AI, ML, optimization, or advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead next-generation products applying AI, operational intelligence, optimization, and autonomous decision-making.
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities across asset reliability, predictive maintenance, production optimization, field operations, energy management.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to transform AI and digital twins into scalable products for industrial environments.
• Translate complex operational challenges into product capabilities, workflows, and measurable outcomes.
