Job summary

Addison Group in Washington, DC is seeking an Energy Resiliency PM to lead the development of resilient microgrids and advanced energy solutions, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), while conducting feasibility studies and navigating DOE/NRC regulatory pathways.

The ideal candidate will bring DoD energy resilience knowledge, strong regulatory navigation, and experience supporting TS-level resiliency programs; TS clearance is required to perform this role effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in energy, engineering or related field.
  • Experience with large-scale energy projects including microgrids or advanced systems.
  • Knowledge of DoD energy resilience and federal procurement requirements.

  • Develop resilient microgrids and advanced energy solutions, including SMRs, with feasibility studies and regulatory navigation.

Our client is looking for an Energy Resiliency PM to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop resilient microgrids and advanced energy solutions – including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and alternative systems – while conducting feasibility studies and navigating DOE/NRC regulatory pathways.
  • Assess infrastructure vulnerabilities, support classified resiliency planning, and align enterprise energy strategies with operational risk and installation readiness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in large-scale energy projects, including microgrids or advanced nuclear.
  • DoD Energy Resilience Knowledge — Understanding of DoD policies, federal procurement, and mission critical power systems.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Navigation — Experience working with DOE, NRC, and federal siting/safety requirements.
  • Technical Risk & Vulnerability Assessment — Ability to evaluate mission dependencies and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Classified Mission Integration — Capable of supporting TS level resiliency programs and sensitive operational timelines.
  • This position is subject to Top Secret Clearance.
  • Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Upon a conditional offer of employment, the position requires a background check and drug screening.
