Job summary

Steptoe LLP is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory matters and/or energy-related litigation to join our Energy practice in Washington, DC, New York, or Houston.

The ideal candidate will possess stellar writing abilities and have experience in the energy industry, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. FERC experience is preferred, and a JD with bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in energy regulatory matters and/or energy-related litigation.
• Stellar writing abilities and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) preferred.
• JD required and bar admission in the office jurisdiction.
