Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering, a global provider of quality assurance and inspection services, is expanding its Quality Control team in Eau Claire. As a QC Specialist, you will perform and witness inspections and testing to ensure compliance with codes, customer specifications, and procedures, verifying calibration and technician certifications.

You will generate clear inspection reports, represent the customer at supplier sites, promote safe work practices, and contribute to continuous quality

Qualifications

• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly).
• Knowledge of industry quality standards and codes (API, ASME, ASNT, DS-1).
• Strong written and verbal communication to interface with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per inspection test plans and quality plans.
• Verify calibration and certification of inspection equipment.
• Generate clear reports documenting rejection and acceptance of inspections.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on scheduling and progress.
• Promote safe work practices and comply with safety guidelines.
