Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is expanding its Quality Control team and seeks QC Specialists to witness inspections, verify equipment calibration, and generate clear inspection reports for customers. You will act as the customer representative at supplier sites, promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly).
• Familiar with industry quality standards and codes (API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1).
• Ability to interface with customers and co-workers via verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per inspection plans, quality plans, and customer requirements.
• Verify inspection, measurement, and test equipment is calibrated and certified for the scope.
• Validate technician certifications are current for the intended scope of activity.
• Act as Customer Representative with suppliers regarding scheduling, deliveries, and execution of work.
• Generate clear, concise inspection reports documenting results and deviations.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with site safety guidelines.
• Communicate progress and results to project coordinators and customers as required.
