Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support scheduling, budgeting and reporting for multiple energy projects. You will create and maintain schedules in Primavera P6, prepare monthly progress reports and assist with capital postings and variance explanations.

The role requires 0–3 years in the utility sector, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in the utility industry is expected.
• Proven scheduling, management and coordination skills for multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and progress project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare monthly reports comparing baseline to progress schedules and recovery plans.
• Ensure accurate accounting with capital postings and budget variance explanations.
• Prepare and present executive-level reports and corrective action plans.
• Provide scheduling support for all projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Travel to project sites in North America as required.
