Job summary

United Grid Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Controls Specialist / Project Scheduler to support Engineers, Project Managers and Construction Managers across energy projects including wind, solar and storage. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end settlements to drive project success.

You will create and maintain schedules with Primavera P6, prepare monthly progress reports, and supply executive-facing analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in project scheduling and management.
Ability to develop accurate project schedules and report to management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain and track project schedules using Primavera P6.
Prepare monthly reports comparing baseline to progress with CPM, resources and costs.
Ensure accurate accounting and capital postings for reporting against budgets.
Prepare executive-level reports and mitigation plans based on critical path.
Provide scheduling support for multiple projects and coordinate with teams.
Travel to project sites in North America as needed.
