Tenaska,-Inc. seeks an energetic Development Analyst Intern to join our interdisciplinary energy project development teams in Omaha.

You will assist with schedules, budgets, market research, financial models and communications for senior leadership while learning across generation, storage, solar and wind projects. You'll collaborate with engineers, analysts and landowners, gain exposure to siting and origination, and travel domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant progress toward a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Strong interest in the energy industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong market analysis and analytical skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare development plans with detailed schedules and budgets.
• Create and review economic proforma and valuation models.
• Compile financial information for analyses of opportunities.
• Produce analyses, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support pricing analysis and bidding to originate revenue contracts.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to management.
• Engage with landowners, regulators and stakeholders to garner support.
• Communicate results to senior management and customers.
• Read and interpret diverse development documents.
• Conduct market trend research using public sources.
• Travel domestically on short notice as required.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
