Advocates Legal Recruiting represents a leading AmLaw 100 client in Washington seeking a mid-level Associate focused on Project Development and Finance, with emphasis on M&A and debt financing in the energy sector. This role offers exposure to top-tier transactions and cross-border opportunities.

You will collaborate with attorneys across Houston, New York, LA, and DC, advising developers, lenders, sponsors, and investors on transformative deals in the energy transition space.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• Class year of 2018–2020.
• Experience in M&A, finance, or project development; exposure to renewable energy is a major plus.
• Current or prior large law firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive key aspects of M&A, project development, and debt finance transactions.
• Collaborate across offices with top-tier attorneys in Houston, New York, LA, and DC.
• Advise developers, lenders, sponsors, and investors on transformative deals in the energy transition space.
