Job summary

FITS LLC is seeking a qualified engineer in Puerto Rico to support pharmaceutical, utilities and manufacturing projects. The role emphasizes bilingual communication in Spanish and English and involves change control activities, project design support, and coordination with A/E firms to meet milestones.

The day-to-day includes participating in meetings, reviewing equipment specs, installing and verifying equipment, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project progress and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Experience in change control development and closure.
• Experience in project design support and coordination with A/E firms.
• Experience in equipment specification evaluation, installation, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track Change Control from start to close.
• Support project design and coordinate with A/E firms.
• Attend A/E project meetings.
• Attend Stakeholders project meetings.
• Evaluate equipment specifications.
• Oversee equipment installation and verify functionality.
• Attend project status meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or a related engineering field
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
• Shift: Administrative and according to business needs
• Experience in:
  • Change Control development, follow-up, completion, and closure.
  • Project design support and coordination with A/E firms and project stakeholders.
  • Equipment specification evaluation, installation, and functionality verification.
  • Project Engineering within pharmaceutical, GMP-regulated, energy, utilities, or facilities environments.
