Job summary

The City of Roseville is hiring an Energy Program Technician to support a variety of customer-focused programs including energy efficiency, renewable energy, rebates, and low-income assistance. You will work directly with customers, contractors, and solar professionals to ensure accurate program data and smooth processing of applications.

Three years of related administrative/technical experience and an Associate’s degree in a related field are required, plus a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three years of increasingly responsible administrative support or technical experience, preferably involving the processing of utility rebates.
• Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college with course work in business administration, finance, public administration or a related field.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Support energy efficiency, renewable energy, rebates, and low-income assistance programs for customers, contractors, and solar professionals.
• Ensure applications and program data are accurate and complete.
