Job summary

Energy Northwest in Richland, WA seeks a leader to supervise the Energy and Professional Services organization, develop new professional services, and drive business development for public power projects. You will oversee budgets, manage programs, and coordinate with utilities to pursue new opportunities.

Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, leading project teams, and negotiating contracts, leases, and financing documents while ensuring program goals are met and staff are developed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, IT, or related field with six years of progressive experience in business development.
• OR an Associate’s degree with eight years of progressive experience.
• OR a high school diploma/GED with ten years of progressive experience in business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop new professional services products or service ideas and oversee their development to implementation.
• Interface with member utilities and other outside entities to identify needs and opportunities, representing Energy Northwest as a solution source.
• Lead development of project or service ideas to solid concepts and implementation; perform cost/benefit and risk evaluations.
• Oversee all phases of project/program development for new professional services including proposals, teams, procurement, financing, and transition plans.
• Supervise staff activities, provide leadership, and manage performance; review and approve procedures; support promotions and training.
