Job summary

PacifiCorp in Portland, OR is seeking a Pricing & Cost of Service Analyst to conduct in-depth analyses of utility rates, cost-of-service studies, and rate design to support regulatory decisions.

You will draft testimony, prepare rate comparisons, and present findings to management while collaborating with internal stakeholders to balance customer impacts with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, business, accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years of regulatory experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software; able to model data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost of service analyses and rate design studies.
• Draft testimony and tariff changes for state regulatory filings.
• Present findings and alternatives to management.
• Prepare rate comparisons and respond to rate requests.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data for forecasting and trends.
• Oversee work of junior analysts as assigned.
