Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with coursework in business, math or engineering.
• Knowledge of wholesale energy markets, CAISO processes, energy trading and regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; some Python for templates and reporting.
• Python for data analysis using pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) for data workloads.
• Experience automating recurring workflows and creating reports.
• Familiarity with version control and code review processes.
• Understanding regulatory environment in California (CPUC/CAISO/CARB/CEC).

Responsibilities

• Support compliant reporting such as Annual/Monthly RA filings.
• Contribute to compliance and accounting reporting for Resource Adequacy.
• Write SQL queries and load results into Python for analysis.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and central data platforms.
• Contribute to Commission advice letter development.
• Support strategy development in commercial activities.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and spoken form.
• Assist continuous improvement of processes.
• Design and support platforms for large datasets access.
• Research regulatory or policy issues and communicate them.
• Participate in PG&E management and regulatory approvals for transactions.
